Strategic meeting in Kavala on social inclusion

The Vela team travelled to Kavala for a substantive discussion with Dimitrios Remmos, Director of the Controlled Access Facility for Temporary Accommodation of Asylum Seekers, who brings long experience in protecting unaccompanied minors and vulnerable groups.

We had the honour of briefing him on the Erasmus+ BRIDGE programme, in which Vela is the lead Greek partner: preventing radicalisation and strengthening the social inclusion of young migrants, co-designing the “Mixing Culture” board game with young people, and Vela's role in research and in training field professionals in empathetic listening.
